Courtney Rice, M.S.

Courtney Rice has worked in the field of exercise, wellness and prevention for over 15 years. She received a Master of Science in Kinesiology and Physical Education with a concentration in Exercise Physiology from the University of Maine. Previous work includes teaching, coaching and implementing wellness programs between public schools and community health partnerships in Maine. In addition to her work at CAARD in the physiology lab, she teaches in the Exercise Science Department at Manchester Community College and trains runners in her free time. She has enjoyed working with adolescents, adult traumatic brain injury and people with various developmental disabilities. Her special interests include kinetic chain and biomechanical analysis as they relate to oxygen loss, injury prevention and teaching a holistic approach to exercise throughout all ages.
